About the Project Cycle Management System (PCMS)

The PCMS of Guyana is a system that facilitates decision making in public investments, streamline projects according to targeted developmental goals of the Government, and provides the technical resources, tools and information required for the efficient management of public expenditure.

Consequently, the objectives of the PCMS are to store and disseminate information on all projects; whether the projects are for the future, presently being administered or have been completed; to support all funding, expenditure, development and fiscal policies; and to support the development decision making of Guyana at all levels – national, sectoral, regional and local levels of government.

This website is one tool provided by the Project Cycle Management Division of the State Planning Secretariat, Ministry of Finance, primarily to disseminate information on the developmental projects comprising the Public Investments and the project cycle of the Country.
